Magic Gaming, the NBA 2K League team of Orlando Magic, has made team management platform Esport-Management its official online platform.

The partnership will include a series of online Pro-Am tournaments hosted on the platform, co-branded social media content, and in-game advertising displayed on Magic Gaming’s social platforms and Twitch channel.

Gabriel Causse, Partnership Development Manager at Magic Gaming said the following in a release: “Magic Gaming is thrilled to welcome this unique partnership with Esport-Management. With this new partnership, we will be able to provide NBA 2K players of all levels an opportunity to compete online on a safe and professional platform. Not only will it allow players who didn’t make the NBA 2K League a way to stay competitive, but it will allow NBA 2K coaches to keep an eye on the new talent that is out there.”

Orlando Magic is also partnered with gaming peripheral company HyperX, water company Boxed Water, gaming chair brand GT Omega Racing, not-for-profit healthcare organisation Orlando Health, virtual reality developer CEEK VR, gaming computer giant Alienware, and Full Sail University.

Alexandre Amoukteh, Co-Founder of Esport-Management also commented on the deal: “We are excited to be named the official online platform for Magic Gaming’s NBA 2K tournaments. This partnership fortifies our efforts to enable every player to assess their skills level, improve their performance and embark on their unique path to pro – and to do so in a supportive and inclusive place that fosters and grows talent.”

Most recently, Esport-Management partnered with AS Monaco Esports – the esports division of the football club that Magic Gaming joined forces with in August last year. The platform is also in deals with tournament organiser DreamHack and European organisation G2 Esports.

Esports Insider says: When you consider the relationship between Magic Gaming and AS Monaco – and that the latter is already partnered with Esport-Management – you can see how this deal came to be. It appears as if Esport-Management is slowly but surely partnering with a variety of companies and organisations to advertise its platform, which seems like a better strategy than chucking money at everybody and anybody in the industry.
